Our next meeting is this *Thursday, September 8 at* 7pm. Join us as Danelle Sowatzke discusses the joys and benefits of using unit studies in your homeschool. Danelle is the mother of 5 and has been homeschooling with unit studies for 20+ years. All prospective, current, and former homeschoolers are welcome! WHO ARE WE? We are moms and dads who volunteer our time and varied experiences as veteran homeschoolers to inform, inspire, advise, and connect homeschooling families with each other, resources, and opportunities. Home education doesn’t have to be overwhelming or burdensome. With God’s Help—including a generous dose of love, patience, commitment, and perseverance—we will, day by day, provide a Christ-honoring education for our children while bringing our families closer. We will hold meetings on the second Thursday of the month at Southwest SDA Church, 15760 Wolf Road, Orland Park. New and veteran homeschoolers will have an opportunity, through round table discussions and guest speakers, to discuss topics that will inform and encourage you on your homeschooling journey.
